well it's a track only setup with that tire compound so yes DSC off. If you're using for the street i don't see the need for this setup even in a street oriented tire. It does slightly touch the liner at full lock but at the track you're never at full lock but you might need it on the street (u turns, etc).

but i've driven it around the paddock and to get fuel and it doesn't upset the dsc one bit

Ah, copy that. Thank you for clarifying. Your shorter diameter is providing you with a touch more clearance, therefore most enthusiasts running the 18x11 ET25 with 305/35-18's would likely need to do a little rear fender messaging. We will learn more as this fitment becomes a bit more common.

Thanks again for sharing your experiences.

It is possible that the few who have also tackled this fitment were running compounds that run slightly wider, therefore had to tailor the rear fenders a bit in result.

Maybe the convex shape of the F80 M3 rear fenders help with clearance compared to the concave fenders of the F82 M4.

What do you recommend for a f82 w 380mm rear discs? I'm looking for a 18in wheel/tire combo for the drag strip. Just rears.

I have lowered it it a bit. I'm about 5mm from the lowest setting. No rubbing issues at all.

Appreciate your interest! I am assuming you have the Brembo 380mm BBK? If so, I suggest running our EC-7 18x11" ET44 which were specifically developed for the rear of this chassis. Our 18" EC-7 are one of the few wheels on the market that will clear the Brembo 380mm BBK

We have some EC-7 18x10" ET25 Anthracite units coming in approx 1.5 - 2 weeks, however it is a relatively small batch so be sure to place a pre-order if you would like to reserve some units.

Any images of the SM-10s on F80s? I'm interested in those in 18x10 +25 square for my M3.

Have you guys ever tried an 11.5 or 12 inch wide wheel for rears? Asking because a lot of the tires I'm looking at for rear have 11 or 11+ inch tread width and I'd like to have a bit wider wheel than the tread, if possible.

Do you know if your APEX wheels will clear AP racing brakes (9668 front, Radi-Cal rear)?

Any chance the FL-5 / SM-10 will be available in the Matte bronze that recently came out for the ARC-8?

Our initial production only included our standard finish options but are always open to suggestions. If we see a large demand for a Matte Bronze wheel, it may be something we consider in the future
