Just be happy we don't have Audi because they have current models that still don't have USB ports.

Also, I am pretty sure CarPlay is being omitted because Apple wants access to, too much car information. And several car companies are apprehensive to give them it.

I'm no expert, but a yearly subscription to Pandora gets you better audio quality and no commercials ever ($36 per year). It works just fine for me via the iPhone USB cord. But, then, I also love Sirius, which many others seem to hate. No car is ever going to match my Macintosh and Klipsch sound at home, the driving is the thrill.

Wish that was the case for my F82. I think it would be a good option since Apple has explan to so many other manufactures.
Some say bluebooth audio is not that good but I beg to differ. With HK i think its pretty clear and cant tell the difference as compared to the usb conection. I feel the stock audio system is good. If I ever plan to upgrade, I would be going towards other independent companies. Sound is subjective for most part, everyone has a different like on how their audio sound should be. |

Your BMW should be able to natively play iTunes Music. It'll show up under Media depending on how you connect - USB or Bluetooth. I use Siri and Bluetooth to control iTunes Music while my phone stays in my pocket.
What's failing when you try to play music?

What is failing is the lack of the user-friendlyness that we know from the Spotify integration.

play Apple Music by usb in your car
Have you ever tried to play your Apple Music by USB cable in your car? There are some converters on the Internet. You can try to convert the music to mp3 format. Then save them in your mp3 player. Play the songs in your car by USB cable. I have chose the Apple Music Converter from TuneSolo.
