Any timeframe for 19” FL-5? That’s what I’m waiting for.

We don't have any plans to produce 19" FL-5s currently but may consider it as we complete other projects. What fitments would you like to see in a 19" FL-5? just a standard mirror of our 19x10 ET25 F 19x11 ET44 R option?

The Flow Formed ARC-8 is our lightest, most affordable flow formed wheel, which is why it’s been our best seller for over 10 years. Part of our Classic line, it's a timeless motorsport design engineered to optimize weight and strength.

The Flow Formed SM-10 and FL-5 feature I-Beam spokes to reduce weight without sacrificing strength.

The Flow Formed APEX FL-5

The FL-5 is our only wheel to feature dual flow forming. Both the barrel and front outer lip are formed using high-pressure rollers to maximize strength while simultaneously reducing weight.

Hi there,

At this time, we do not have any immediate plans to offer a FL-5 Group Buy in the near future. However, I would highly suggest joining our newsletter (located at the bottom of our website home page) to stay up to date with any future promotions or sales moving forward.

Hyper Black Finish

The Hyper Black finish, only available on our Flow Formed ARC-8 model, is a great alternative to Hyper Silver. Featuring a darker inner barrel and shadow chrome like appearance, it's sure to give your BMW a stylish yet aggressive look.

Hey guys, I thought 18 inch flow formed Arc8s will not fit on our F8x chassis standard brakes. How did this guy on your gallery manage to fit these flow formed Arc8s on his F80?

You're correct, our current 18" ARC-8s will not clear the standard F8X brakes. We have an updated version of our flow-formed ARC-8s that have a redesigned barrel and inner lip in the works that allows them to clear those brakes. The picture linked above is a pre-production set of these wheels that we used for test-fitting/photography and they aren't available for purchase yet. We are still working on an exact ETA for these updated wheels.

PERFECT!!!! I always wanted 18 inch ARC8s. On your website, it states that they will be available on March 2021. Is that the ETA you are expecting? Also, these all have the deep concavity profiles right?

The March ETA is for the older design wheels that will not clear the steel F8X brakes I believe. It's going to be a while longer before the V2 ARC-8s are ready to go across the board in all fitments.

Another thing that may also be of interest is that we will be releasing 18x11 ET44 ARC-8s for the first time as well with the barrel improvements to give you more choices for rear wheels on the F8X chassis. Like our EC-7s and SM-10s, these are optimized to let you run 305/35-18s as a direct fit. You may have noticed this wheel in the flicker galleries.

All of the F8X compatible wheels should be profile 3 max concavity wheels with the new V2 barrel. All of our ARC-8s across the board will be getting these improvements though so they aren't just for the F8X chassis or concave wheels specifically. We are expanding our 19" offerings as well with a focus on M2C fitments but they will also work on some less aggressive M3/M4 applications as well .

Finishing Touches

APEX wheels are finished using a multi-stage liquid paint over a powder coated base coat. This coating process leaves lug holes, center bores and mounting pads untouched, which ensures proper fit and torque values.

The Flow Formed FL-5

The FL-5 was designed with a focus on maintaining optimum brake clearance without sacrificing the deep dish appearance. The spokes feature a curved design made to easily clear most aftermarket calipers.

These wheels are still in progress on the production side. They aren't all coming through at once so it will be a while before we see a full staggered 18x10 ET25 set +18x11 ET44 setup available for sale. The ETA my production team gave me is currently July, but we are waiting on a few pieces of info before committing to a more accurate timeline.

Got it! I don’t need a super wide set as I’m set on putting on 255/40/18 or 265/40/18 fronts and 275/40/18 or 285/40/18 rears. Just want the ARC8 wheels in 18s that clear my brakes with the deeeeeep concavity!

With tires of that size up front, I would ordinarily recommend our 18x9.5 ET22 instead as it will support the sidewall a bit better, but that may push the ETA back a bit further as I believe we are prioritizing the 18x10 ET25s for the V2 fitments at the moment.

More info to follow for sure!

Hmm do you recommend that I go with a square setup in the 18x10et25 ARC8s? If so and I want a 40 profile tire, can I Go with 285/40/18 all around?

285/40-18 is a bit tall and will likely cause rubbing, especially up front. I would recommend 275/35-18s or 285/35-18s instead. The 275/35s should be a direct fit, but the 285/35-18s may need a touch of negative camber up front depending on the tire you choose and the ride height of the car.
