Scratches on polished black C-pillars.

I was washing my car, and trying to get some bird shit off of the outer black shiny C-pillar trim. I simply wiped it with water and a microfiber, but it left an abrasion mark. Almost like I'd taken sandpaper to it. I guess that material is sensitive. Suggestions for how to remove the scratch spot?

DA buffer. Don’t try to polish by hand. You’ll probably make it worse.

go have them protected with clear bra. Best thing to do on the Bpillars of ANY car. We do them all the time. Saves a ton of headache

But I have ppf on my B pillars. It’s a great idea if you don’t like super high gloss swirls.
