That's an incandescent bulb.
They're referring to the LED parking lamps, not the blinkers.

Again, that's referring to the parking/DLR light tubes, not the blinkers. You can see the incandescent bulb clear as day in the pic. F32s out in the wild have incandescent turn signals. It's not an LED blinker.

I don't know why a few members are having such a hard time with this. It has been this way ever since the LCI 5-Series. |

Technically there is LED technology present in the tail lights, so it's accurate...............just not in the way that members here would like it to be. That won't come until the LCI.

Gotcha. So it should look more LEDish than my 08 e92s though, just not as good as the full LED set up.

I don't give a crap really. I own a 2008 e92M with plain ol' bulbs. no mechanical issues whatsoever with the first model year of this car. I was trying to show some people that maybe there were LED lights so they possibly didn't have to delay jumping in an getting this car. It was a fail. I still ordered my 1st model year as usual however.

I know I know. Google M4 LED tail lights and thats what you get!!! I saw an Audi with cool LED taillights last night and it was really sharp. Not a reason for me not to order an M4 though

2nd. LEDs look cheap to me. Maybe Pep Boys will have a nice upgrade for those who want it.

I assumed they were LEDs. The E92 LCI had LEDs IIRC, so why would BMW "downgrade" to incandescent?

Glad to hear that it isn't that important. Especially with the performance aspects this car offers. And I agree with you guys the LED headlights are more important and seem to make a substantial impact on the fascia of the car. The rear ones do not from the comparison pics above. I don't get why people are wanting to wait for the LCI based on LEDs on the tail lights as well. I just thought what I read was funny how they stated they are LEDs in the articles and they really are not. I am fine with being one of the few with the early model on the road, believe me.
