I checked KBB trade in for my car and was shocked to see it said "least expensive model" as soon as "convertible" was selected! I know vert is usually more expensive out of showroom but takes a dump over the years, but wow!

Still prefer hardtop vert over coupe or soft top!

Remove them in two minutes, just pull them up by moving them a little left and right. And you can always put them back together in less than a minute.

Appreciate this. I didn’t honestly think removing them was going to even be an option here in the US (I assumed they were probably part of rollover protection), but they came right out like you said.

I never have anyone in the back seats, so removing them both increased visibility with the top up, and I think it looks much nicer with the top down, too. Great suggestion!

Does anyone actually remove their SmartTOP before bring their car in to the dealer for maintenance? Seems unnecessary to me but wondering what others do.

You can turn the module completely off if you’re worried about top operation. Removing completely might be worth doing if they’re digging around in the back of your trunk otherwise I don’t think there’s a need past disabling it

Totally forgot about that option. Thanks for the reminder - that’s what I just did.

A CS style lip in gloss black. Bulbexpert on eBay. Not 100% fitment but my installer made it work. Decent quality for the price, but is fiber glass and not ABS (what it claims to be) so I don't know how it'll hold up. Cheap enough to be a consumable.

Those headlights aren’t the ones from the LCI update?

After a few email issues registering I'm on! I picked up a white '17 F83 w/ 19.5k miles Sept 1. OMG what a blast to drive. When I read the specs that it had neck warmers I was wondering what the heck that meant. That really makes a difference when it's 50deg out.
I'm really looking forward to M school to learn more of what this beast can do.
