ZCP Rear tire size

Hi guys,

I was ordering the new rear tires for my 2016 ZCP.
My rear tire size is 285/30/20 and tire rack shows the same.

However, BMWPartsPros (Britney@Steve Thomas BMW) says that the rear size in the system for ZCP is 275/30/20. Can anyone confirm if BMW changes the rear tire size for 2017 or 2018?

285/30/20 is correct. The non ZCP 18"/19" wheels are a 275 rear but the 666m wheels take a 285 tire.

Thanks for confirming it. Not sure why BMWPartsPros don't see the ZCP rear tires in their system...

I'm running 295/30R20 and 275/30R20 Michelin 4S on 666m wheels on my 2016 M4 ZCP.

Thinking of 275/30 front and 295/30 in rear. Did you add any spacer, made any changes or just added wider tires to 20" Comp wheels? Plus, have you seen any changes with bigger tires?

I had been running 10mm rear and 12mm front spacers. But, when I went with the 275/295, I also installed SPL upper arms in the rear to adjust the camber. The combination meant I needed to remove the spacers in the rear and reduce the front from 12mm to 10mm. The 12mm in the front did cause some rubbing with the fender liner. All good now.

That looks really good. So this can be accomplished on a stock car without any modifications to suspension arms?

I believe so. I am actually running with slightly less camber in the rear. With the stock alignment I think it would still fit just fine.

16,500 miles later, I have to change the stock MPSS to most likely the MPS4S as most folks are going.

I bought the car used and i put on about 5,000 of the 16,500 miles.

Stock 2016 F80 ZCP

I want to go with the 275 front and 295 rear setup for a wider stance.

Are there any drawbacks with this? I don't want to do any modifications but I do like the 10mm spacer on the front from the previous post I saw the pic of.

Not doing a winter setup for now, maybe next year.

feedback's appreciated...newbie here.

Do you have anymore side profile pics of your car with 275/295? How much of a drop do you have with your coilovers? 1” in front 0.5” in the rear or thereabouts?
