Euro mdm is better but i think i am changing my m button to full off for traction control. Id rather drive the car than allow the machine to do it.

cs edc- i want to undo this. Its more comfortable over less than perfect roads but it allows for more body roll. Its less nimble. The ass moves around a shockingly large amount when corning. the weight transferring in the rear probably helps with traction but that glued to the road feel is "less" now. I bet on a track the cs edc is an upgrade when at the limit (especially for traction) but on the road it just makes the car feel heavier and less sporty. more body roll. I am actually a bit upset about this setting.

I can virtually guarantee that the CS tune has MUCH less compression stiffness. It sucks we cant find out these values anywhere. Where as rebound is tighter. I think this all likely means more corning traction. but more body roll.

GTS DCT, GTS Steering, GTS MDM, GTS Differential, latest ZCP EDC software via iStep update from dealer.

I can confirm that the ZCP EDC is more sporty/harsh on uneven roads relative to the CS EDC at the expense of slower rebound which CS EDC was better at.

how does one communicate to dealer to get the istep updated? Does getting my istep updated undo all my coding?

I just told my SA that my idrive/CarPlay was crashing and had issues with audio, which was true.

It will undo all of your coding but you can recode yourself using BimmerCode and a WiFi obd2 dongle.

Not as good as GTS. Something was just off with the CS coding.

Just coded from DCT GTS to DCT CS: for me the CS choice is better!
Upshifts from 1º to 2º gear and, most of all, from 2º to 3º are far smoother and keep the rear more stable, without that sudden loss of traction I experienced before!
I decided to code after driving an M3 CS on my mountain roads...

I did a review of the CS coding from Thor. The steering feel in comfort takes much less effort. Makes the car feel how it should have from the factory. I highly recommend the CS Suspension and Steering coding.

Am I able to flash everything using bootmod3 instead of getting Thor? I feel if I'm dropping $299, might as well spend another couple hundred and get everything.

Had mine done remotely by www.facebook.com/Zedcoding on my 2016 F82 M4. Massive difference.

Updated the software on the drivetrain modules and then loaded the full GTS DCT, traction, Differential, steering. All for £150 pounds around $200. Also coded in some nice extras. Thor flasher is too expensive IMO.

Are you running CS EDC coding on a ZCP car or a Base car? And which springs? I have a base car and considering to install some ZCP front dampers.

No, Bootmod3 can only do the gts transmission software

Has there been a GTS software update this month?
Seen other BM3 threads with a GTS update issued.
Any feedback on here with updates to regular GTS software?

I flashed lots of ECUs to version 20-03-530, DSC dme too:
ASD
Fem Body
Fem Gw
GHAS
ICM
EPS
DSC
ACSM
REM
SM2
VDC
ZBE
TRSWC
DKG
IHKA3
I updated to fix an issue with DSC flashing without no reason at high speed in 4th gear.
The problem was solved, but I was sad to discover that MDM CS/GTS apparently doesn’t make any differences no more!
I’m doing some tests these days, but I suspect that with the last version of the software they introduced some blocks...
Does anyone flashed to 20-03?

I have updated my 2016 M4 to istep 20-07-525 recently and after flashing the CS map (MHD) i am considering to try to code CS or GTS for steering, EDC, GHAS and flash DCT with cs or gts. DCT requires flashing (can use MHD or esys) but all the other modules is only matter of coding ?

After a I-leve update of 2020, the DSC GTS MDM Setup is not the same of before.
Car seem more tied than previous ilevel (2018)

Any update of this 'issue' ?

So you prefer GTS MDM to Euro MDM? I'm curious if other users can chime in on this as well, which MDM is the best--CS, Euro, or GTS?

I've never tried GTS-MDM, but I can attest CS-MDM is better than the Euro-MDM of my 2015 M4.
