Why pay extra for a package that comes with crap you don't want so you can spend more money to replace the parts you don't like.

Unless it gets something that's hard to retrofit like water injection everything else can be "fixed" better in the aftermarket anyway.

The wheels look 1,000% better in silver than on the GTS. As much as I like the size and design, I'm afraid that they would be a major PIA to clean.

Wheels also will make up a significant portion of the price increase... So it's not unreasonable

So Comp pack seems like its going to sport 20s, I'm probably in the minority but I'd rather have 18s with chunky rubber. As W/// said putting aside the wheels be interesting to see what else will be offered on the ZCP.

Because the other parts add up. Not that I mind the stock exhaust that much, if they made the ZCP one with less rasp and a bit throatier, that would be great considering mufflers are not cheap on this car.

Also, we don't know if they'll do a slight power bump. That would also be interesting. What if they tweak the EPS? I'm completely speculating of course.

So I'm interested in the sum of all parts. I'd rather have the 18s, but if they make the ZCP compelling, I'd be interested.

I like the wheels... Too big for my taste, though.

I wonder if those front wheels will suffer the same inner barrel gouging with CCB's.

Since they are 20". I don't think there will be that probem.

I thought my 359 wheels were a PITA to clean. These look like a hair puller.

20" in the front really seems like pushing it. And I assume you have to get the CCB with this competition pack? Which means this option will tip $10K. Ouchy.

Both wheel design and size looks good, so does the black exhaust tips. Together with an assumed power bump and suspension upgrade this is IMO definitely worth waiting for at this point in time. I just wish you could get passive suspension with it.

Thanks for posting!

I wonder if this is a different exhaust as they have done in the past. For those who want MPE, it would be an extra premium wasted on the initial purchase cost.

The (assumed) ZCP mules spotted here have the irons. I think it is fair to assume that both brake configurations will be offered.

^This.

However, I doubt that the different ZCP exhaust costs much more than the base system. In the end, it all depends how much of a premium BMW will be charging for the ZCP.

Here in Canada, the ZCP on the E92 was a total rip off for the first year is was offered (ZCP+EDC=$5900CAD in 2011). BMW Canada then revised the packaging of options for the subsequent years and ZCP became a very good deal ($2900CAD in 2012+).

For sure not. The M5/6 ZCP does not make you get CCB, that would be crazy.

The M5/6 ZCP is pretty expensive at $7300, but BMW went to town with that one. I don't expect the one on the M3/4 to be as expensive.

Wow, what a huge drop. That's ridiculous, considering the ZCP on the E9x wasn't all that amazing IMO

At $2900 it was a steal considering that it included 19" wheels (the 19" 220M went for $2000) and EDC ($2000 as a stand alone option) as part of the package. So you essentially got a $4000 value for $2900 plus the lowered suspension and EDC/MDM recalibration as an added bonus.

I sprung for the ZCP on the E92M, it was a good value indeed. But I can tell you after driving my F80 with adaptive dampers for just a week, the F80 dampers are significantly better than on the E9xM platform.
