The problem with any visualizer when it comes to BMW paint and likely most automotive paint is that they have many moods.

My Sakhir Orange ranges from deep burgundy to red to bright orange with gold highlights.

If I were going to drop $5k on a color that I was not absolutely sure of, I would have a body shop paint a sample with some curvature for me; money well invested IMO.

the Tanzanite Blue is WAY off.
and while there are some turquoise flakes, the car doesn't look turquoise.
it varies between dark blue (almost black) and shiny medium to dark blue.

again, the best way to see colors (if you can't see them in real life) is to look at pics that people post in real life in different lighting conditions. that's how I decided to get Azurite Black for my 435 and then Tanzanite Blue for my M4; never saw either color in real life until I got them.

btw, I see little difference between Az Black and Carbon Black and I've had them together for direct comparison.

interesting that the red stripe in the M logo is Imola Red II and honors BMW's relationship with Texaco.

wonder which exact colors the blue stripes are in the M logo.

the lighter blue almost looks like Laguna Seca.

Here is Avus blue they show in the tool and here it is in real life. For some reason everything is darker and muted in the tool.

Check San Marino Blue in the tool too, way off.

You are better searching the internet for various photos to get a good idea if you can't find a real life example.

I would not use that tool to make such an expensive decision.
As a photographer, this is correct. It also further supports the issue with trying to do this over the internet which is a horrible tool for this type of thing. Practically speaking it is designed to fail.

I liked my Mineral White at first, too. However, after driving past about 500 white BMW's daily I really hate having a white BMW.

Just took a look at it on their site. BRG really suits the F8x.

Mineral white with 666 ZCP's finished in satin bronze would change the dynamic quickly.
