Joining the F80/F82 Family

Actually, not just the F80/F82 family, but this will be my first BMW.

My car progression is pretty simple overall:

1993 Honda Accord DX
2003 Lancer Evolution 8
2008 Lancer Evolution X
2013 Subaru BRZ

Still have the Evo X and planning to keep it forever.

I remember back in High School when the E46 M3s came out. My family didn't have much money, so that was nothing but an absolute family.

When I had my first job out of College, I went to go look at the E90/92 M3. Still a pipe dream for me to afford a car payment in the 700-900+ a month range.

I recently sold my BRZ because I wanted to get into something practical with ground clearance to DD. I was primarily looking at the Subaru Outback. My wife was shopping for a car and her mom loves BMWs. Wife ended up getting a 2016 X3, but during her process, I test drove an M4. Fell in love right away and decided to chase after the dream of having an M3 since both the wife and I are in a good spot financially since our plan for children are in about 2-3 years.

My week 13 build looks like this:
2016 M3
Mineral White
Extended Black Merino Interior
Exec Pack
Lighting Pack
Driver Assistance Plus
DCT
M-Adaptive Suspension
Black 19s

I'm tempted to add the Comp Pack, but think I'm going to hold off on that.

I was walking from the Parking Lot to work today and saw a Mineral White M3... Counting the days!

Nice build and excellent choice on MW. My previous F30 was AW but I am so glad I went with Mineral this time, IMHO way more complex and the different colors depending on light really makes it shine.

Do Euro Delivery now, before you have kids, it will make it so much easier. Otherwise you're looking at 8-10 years from now!

Honestly, I wish I could!

My wife is starting a new Advisory gig at one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms and I'm quite busy with my career at this moment too.

Maybe when her X3 lease is up and if she decides on another BMW, we can somehow squeeze in an ED BMW.
