The markup is silly, but the looks are kinda growing on me. Haven’t seen an M yet, but my son and I decided the 4 doesn’t look terrible. We’ll all probably adjust at some point. The weight is the problem for me. Bigger and fatter is the trend, and that sucks on a track.

The front end is what it is..no sense in beating that dead horse. It's terrible. What I can't get past is there are no definitive body lines on the side of the car. That thing could be an infitexusurastang. There is nothing on this car that defines it as a BMW. It looks like every other car in its class.

Maybe put some more R&D into the springs so they're refined enough to be acceptable amongst all the consumers
Not everyone wants their car to be super low. I have spent 5 years driving an E92 on coilovers, I'm over it and don't want to deal with the scraping issues any more.

BMW could change the bumper and fender design to reduce the gap, but then it would not have room left for lowering.
I think the current design is a trade-off to suit both situations.

I'm not bothered by the gap on my stock F82...

I'm not saying the car has to be low. I'm saying the car comes stock with adjustable suspension so those who like the normal stock height can keep it and those who want to lower it can also do it. Everybody wins in the end

The very last thing I did before the COVID-19 lockdown last March was a 2-day HPDE. Scheduled for another one in September. I have 26 track days on the M4 including Nurburgring, Circuit Park Zandvoort, and Spa Francorchamps. I would have had another 9-12 days if it weren't for COVID.

I detest stereotypes.

Its true....this is such a crappy/basic bitch looking M car it's hard to believe BMW signed off on this. Regardless of the grill.

Not a chance in hell I would give up my F82 for one of these... no matter how fast or how great the tech/interior is.

I’ve excepted the fact BMW is not trying to sell me my next M car, they are trying to push into new markets that are more about bling.

they would have to mark this down 20K under MSRP for me to consider buying the G82.
