What is happening to the EU market
I've been actively browsing autoscout.24 and mobile.de for the last 6 months looking for an M4.
Now I'm around the period when I'd actually want to pull the trigger and buy one of those. I vividly remember not too long ago you could get a 2016-2017 M4 base with under 80K km and really well specced for around 40-42K euro and there were PLENTY of 2015-2016 models with little over 100K km under 40k all day long, sitting at the highest in the 37.5-39K range In that time I remember also there were tons of options of M4 comps (not cabrio) in the 45k range, good KM under 80, nice specs Now what the hell happened? There are only shitty specked cabrios or 150-190KM coupe options for the same or even higher prices An under 100km comp coupe is around 50-55k at least for a 6-7 year car, I've seen non comp models go as high as 50k and they re not even facelift which seems crazy to me considering M3 G80 for much lower KMs have went as low as 65k range. Also there are 1k ish M4 F82 for sale in germany alone if you take the biggest 2 car sites, how does the price still is sitting so damn high. Am I nitpicking and biased because I m in the market for one or has anyone else noticed this too? It seems the market was satured with so many good deals 6 months ago now theres a bunch of obv higher KM, slighty older, more expensive leftovers |

Hell I just checked and had DMed sellers for clean 40 and 45K KM 2016 models with retrofitted tail/headlights for 40K one year ago
and actually searched for a G80 and I found one sitting at 64.5K, 12/2022 year beautiful specked, 29k KM and you find comps from 68K while base 2018 M4s with around 50-60k km are 50-54k range |

I noticed inflation is sky high but didn't think it would have an effect on everything so strong, also I thought USA second hand car market is much much cheaper bcs the incentive to lease or finance new cars is much bigger than EU, so I remember your market started to get better, isn't that the case?

In the UK, values have dropped a fair bit in the last 12 months. On all cars.
