LOL - With enough mods any car can be fast.

You do realize that "1970 Cuda" car was just a frame/body with a lot of $$$ invested into it.

It has a new HEMI motor, modern Suspension, brakes etc.
Down a straight line - its not too far fetched it can beat an R8.

With enough money - u can get old VW bug or any Minivan and turn it into a 10sec car......

It still seems far fetched to me lol You are comparing a 1970s car to a modern day car. Yes it's great and everything but you would need to do some SERIOUS upgrades to it thus making it far fetched in my eyes

What's next? you're going to tell me that its realistic to crash head on going as fast as you possibly can and get out of the car without a scratch? Oh and then start swinging at the guy you just crashed into as if you aren't even a little dazzled by the traumatic crash. Just because you saw it in a movie doesn't mean its absolutely possible. Go figure.

We can play the he said she said game all day but until you can pull up an actual video (not a staged race from a movie) of a race between the two cars with a list of the mods in each one then this conversation is pointless and I'll put a stop to it here. Yes, these cars can be upgraded and modded and you can do whatever you want with them but its still an unrealistic comparison to me and you can't change my opinion

Have a great rest of your day

Well thats EXACTLY what FF cars are about being HEAVILY modded.
if it was a STOCK 1970 Cuda, then yes you would be correct.

You must be a young dude but do some research and learn.
I doubt you even read the link i posted.

Modern day cars are great overall and for safety features, tech, braking etc.
But for straight line drag racing - none of that is important.

Plenty of you tube videos out there to prove it........

Just saw the trailer watching Jurassic world in imax. Wow. Not sure if this is how product placement is supposed to work but now I want to watch a movie I would otherwise be skeptical about. SS M3 looks amazing and makes it that much more compelling =P

New Mission Impossible

Have you seen the new trailer yet? Some glimpses at all those F80s they destroyed in the middle east. I remember how angry people were in this forum about the wanton destruction of their babies!

There are quite a few threads on this already... I'm too lazy to search.

Regardless, the movie looks awesome! Just the icing on the cake that the M3 is Ethan Hunt's (Tom Cruise) car of choice

Oops, sorry, I did a cursory glance at the threads. Next time I'll do a more thorough search.
