Just got back from M school at Thermal. Drove a bunch of Ms with both tires. Michelin's are far superior.

Yes, it's known that BMW uses both Michelin and Continental.

Mine came with Contis. I plan to replace them with 275/295 MPSS when it's time for new tires.

MPSS being replaced by Pilot Sport 4S. Don't look for BMW to go back to the MPSS.

What is BMW doing?! Jk.

My 2013 S550 had Continentals on it, couldn't wait to get those off.

Those 20s would break loose like no tomorrow under a little load.....MPSS on my M4 grip like glue, well almost.

Hey everyone,
Thank you all for your great input on performances and reviews.
Now let's find out where we can buy them the lowest price?
I am interested in particular
Michelin 275/35 ZR19 (100Y)XLTL Pilot Super Sport *

Since I have it on my 2015 M4 I have to admit they held up well(excellent), in fact almost 19k miles beating everywhere, road, canyons, track????

More then welcome to share the lowest retailers on any tires you've got!

Let's help each to burn more tires with less money!!!

I just realized that the Contis seem to have a much better wheel rim protector than the Michelin. So curb rash less likely with the Conti

I just replaced my 255/275 Contis after just 4k miles with 265/295 MPSS and it's a night and day difference. The MPSS are just so much better. The car feels alot more agile and alive, nevermind having noticeably more grip. Almost feels like BMW under-tired the car in stock form, and even moreso with the Contis.

If BMW was installing the Conti ContactSports 6 instead of the 5, everyone (ok, maybe not trackers) would much prefer the Contis. 5? No way.

I've had Michelins and Conti's across the E46/E9X/F8X M's, and I never had an issue with the Conti's. I like the Conti 5P/6 profile more than the MPSS. As far as any discernible grip differences............there are none that I've felt.
