I thought I'd share these pics I found. Since I know I'm not the only one wondering what these g80 paddles would look like on an f80. It's plug and play according to the owner. I think it looks really good.

I missed the part where you said the pics weren't yours, apologies.

I've been looking for a CS-style steering wheel with heating but can't seem to find anyone to do this, not even Coby.

Anyway, back to the CF paddles!

I wonder if these G80/82 paddles bind when you click on them. They function the same as the original.

Want to mind anyone purchasing plastic paddle, it would not be as rigid as the aluminum oem paddle. The autotechnic carbon fiber paddle shifter uses aluminum connector, instead of plastic you found in aliexpress..

I just did the swap today. Very happy.

It’s 100% plug-and-play.

The mechanism is a different part number. If comparing side by side, there is a small but noticeable difference in “click.” Slightly shaper, I like it.

The blue connection is the same, so it plugs in with no problem.

I always wanted longer paddles but prefer BMW OEM when possible, so this worked well for my taste.

I have a red car, so I like the small red accents of the + and -

The carbon inlay matches the carbon interior perfectly and, in the sunlight, has beautiful depth.

Nice tactile feel with the textures on the back subtle but noticeable.

They are longer(obviously) but, importantly, zero bend even when trying from the edges of the paddles—very rigid OEM.

The paddles are designed for a different Steering wheel, so the angle of the paddles are closer to the steering wheel, which I like.

After reading this thread I realized I have these paddles on my wheel right now. I looked back at the listing from the original buyer (I’m the second owner) and it had no mention of these as a add on. I looked up on autotecknic’s website but couldn’t find them on their site either. Could it be that the ones I have are OEM G80 paddles and the previous owner just forgot to add this to the mod list lol?

Do they have red hexagons on the back? One side raised the other recessed? That’s OEM.

Matt@Evolve just saw your comment. Looks like I do have OEM ones 😏. The (-) is recessed and the (+) is risen
