Keep the stagger between 20mm or less or you’ll start to introduce more understeer - 275/295 would be the move. Are you looking for seat time or for lap times?

From my experience and looking at what others are running. Out of all 200TWs RE71rs seems to be fastest. CRS V2 not as fast but has better wear. Since I care a little more about longevity I will probably end up buying the crs v2 next.

I have see some ppl complain about the wear but heard it was because they didn’t have enough camber. What size wheel are you putting the 315 on?

Thanks I was thinking the stagger might be high. However I run into oversteer way more than understeer at the moment. 295 is stretched on a 11” wheel so won’t it be a little twitchy ?

Looking mostly for seat time but want a tire that can still hang with the top of the pack. I was thinking rt660,crs or contact force

No 295 will be perfect on 11in, you’ll have a great contact patch. I run 295s on a 10.5in wheel but would love to run a 11in wheel to really maximize contact.

Well there is a significant drop off in durability as you go for faster tires. I love endurance tires for seat time - ECFs and RS4s. You’ll easily get 10 days out of them and still have faster than Cup 2 pace. In comparison, you may eke out 5 days out of a set of CRS/RE71/AO52s type tires.

I’ll probably go to ECF after my RE71s are done so I can continue to work on my driving.

I found this site https://www.tiresandco.ca/tire-equivalence-advice.html. Based on the table 265/35 and 295/35 are ideal for my wheels. Anyone run this combo ? I see that it’s a 0.8 stagger. Will that mess up mdm?

Your front tires do the braking and turning, so most of the track work. Using a 265 is ok is you have stock wheels, but for a dedicated set it is a waste.

If for some reason you need staggered wheels and tires, maximize each axle. 10.5 up front and 11 rear. Or just do square 10.5 wheels like most people.

Given that you are on stock suspension, you may be overthinking the tire portion, as pretty much all 200tw have more grip than your suspension can handle.

Does anybody run solid diff bushings on their street driven F80? Found this kit with the offset bushings while looking at different options where I've typically just seen the poly configurations or KMP. Pricing looks good.

My F80 is a street/track build that I enjoy taking on the street occasionally, and have never been in a car with solid diff bushings. If anybody has feedback that'd be great! My car isn't exactly quiet or luxury with the Nitrons/APs/Recaros/Exhaust but it's all a balance haha. I know there will be added NVH/whine but how bad is it driving on the highway?

Also considering their rear arm bundle to have more control of the fitment of aggressive setups in the rear. I've currently got 295/35 square and absolutely love it. I have very slight rubbing under hard compression after giving the fenders a pull. If I changed the wheel offset to +30 or above it wouldn't be an issue, but really just comes down to my wheel taste Feel like if the subframe is being dropped for the diff, and arms are being installed, might as well do the sway bars too (GTMore?)... this is starting to get out of hand!!

Do you have to drop the subframe to do the diff support? I would not do a diff support with solid bushings, even powerflex make a good racket.
The nicest thing about the double diff support is to raise the diff 10mm like the M4 GT4. If a kit can't do that, I wouldn't bother.

The GtMore sways are great, I'm happy to have them

From what I understand, the subframe is typically dropped to have the easiest access to the bushings and do the dual diff support bracket. At least from what I gathered from Turner showing their install of the poly bushings and their dual bracket.

The GKTech kit I linked includes the Dual Diff Support + offset bushings to raise the diff 10mm. The pricing is attractive at 1/2 the price of KMP's offering. It's $500 vs $1000, which is what got me interested in a solid setup!

Thanks for the feedback on the GTMore sways!

Definitely need to drop the subframe on service bolts. I just installed the kmp diff bracket and bushings. Will report back in a few weeks once it's on the road.

Service bolts make it way easier. The bolt on top of the diff bracket is the hardest part of the whole job. Very little room to get at it and red locktite.

Thanks!! Look forward to your feedback. I spoke with a few people who said that with their full interior cars and rear seats up, the additional NVH and whine specifically aren't bad. So I'll probably just go in that direction, especially given the price of that kit and the direction the car is going. Forever chasing my ideal clubsport build

I have the bracket with oem poly bushings but the rear interior removed and it's still not very bad. It adds a little extra sound but I actually like it.

I second this. I also have the full rear interior removed, no carpet from diver's seats back, no rear seats, no trunk carpet or liners, TMS bracket and ECS bushings... I love the sounds. I don't even listen to the radio anymore. Between the whine from the diff, the transmission whine (poly tranny mounts and shifter bushing), clicking and clacking of the full SPL suspension... It's a fun ride. With full interior in, it really wasn't that loud at all.
