Today I picked up my car from RRT Racing here in Virginia. I had the ARM catted downpipes installed when doing the SSR CH install. After letting the engine warm up I did a few pulls (no dyno) with a discernible power increase on the BM3 stage 1 93O tune. Pulls were harder and traction where I used to have it on dry pavement kicks in MDM... ( With this setup I am also Running Eventuri intake V2 and CPs as well as a Garrett Intercooler)

The exhaust does have a clean note to it in "eco" mode, it gets more raspy in sport and +. I have a video clip I uploaded w all three sounds to my IG @garrettjones0351 if you'd like to see and hear it.

Also try here:

I spoke w the RRT techs asking about ease of install and fitment etc. they said the install was an easy one but they did have to knock on the aluminum under pan to ensure a proper fitment and that the ARM kit came with bolts but not stainless ones, so they installed it with stainless ones. If you look at the photos you will notice the welds aren't as clean as some of the other brands, I called them to find out how they sold their DPs for such a more economical price and that's because the manufacturing is indeed done "in Asia". Which may throw some of us off; however, for the price I wanted to give them a go and see if they were worth their salt.

UPDATE: Several months later I couldn't be happier. They sound great and I am very impressed with what I paid for.

I have added a clip of inside the car now without burbles:

I'll continue to update as I learn.

The CEL doesn't go away...I got one too with my ER sport cats. You can go into bootmod3 and turn off the Catalytic Monitor CEL which is right below the VMAX selection.

To get your video in here just post it to your YouTube as private (so people don't search you) and then paste the YT link in your post.

What about a spacer like one of these, will they work on an M3/4? I had the 45* angled one in my S4 and it worked with long tube headers (I know different platform but same principle) or extend rear O2's a little further.

If you can fit spacers/defoulers then they'll probably work, IF you can fit them. Space is tight, but there are posts of guys who succeeded. I'm gonna try and flash to stock and drive until I get "ready lights" on the scanner, then go for stickers before the CEL comes on.

Thanks for the write up. Good to know you still got a CEL with them. Looking into these and sounds like I'd need a defouler too. That way I can get through emissions testing.
If you don't mind me asking how much did they charge you for the crank hub install? Looking for shops and they're just down the street.

Expect about $3.5-4K including the pin hub, the CBC and complete install (supplies, oil, coolant, everything).

...to get this post back from hijack

My resonated ARM DPs came in from Mike@x-ph.com. They look great quality and are going to the ceramic shop for a Glacier black CeraKote 2000F coating.

Not sure if I should coat the flex sections...nobody would see if ceramic flaked or cracked. Anyone with experience having heat insulating ceramic coatings applied?

I thought you already had HFC DP's.

Trying another set?

Yep, you're right on the HFCs! The ARMs pair up with Vargas GC ceramics, bolting on this summer.

I installed these as well. Used to be totally catless. I am GC+ tuned 93 30psi or so. When i went to these by tune went to absolute SH!T. Was pulling 10 degrees. I did not expect this since its only 200 cell. I had to go back.

These are great for stage 1, maybe 2, you will have to tune for it and they are certainly a trade off. Sounded good, fit good, etc.

So i have a set for sale if anyone wants them 150 off lowest price.

Just checking...you have a hot tune and when you installed the sport cats instead of catless the motor started to pull timing? What tune are you on for 30PSI?
