Great Update!

Ok as if this process couldn't get anymore oddly good, my PPI comes back with a nice surprise.

Car passed exceptionally well in all areas and we discover it has Dinan tune! Yes, there's much better tunes out there like Hex, JB4 and Bootmod, but having a warrantied, conservative tune for free is hard to beat.

Then the solution to the front bumper license plate holes and scratches will be resolved by buying my mechanics F80 M3 signal green euro bumper (to be resprayed obvi) for.....$500! With the CF lip. This guy has a crazy car collection including a GT3 RS, Jahre M3 with 0 miles (don't ask) and a on order F90 M5 CP and recently sold his signal green F80 M3 which is where the bumper is coming from.

I've feel so blessed by God to have found such a great deal on an awesome car!

On a side note, did european delivery on the first 16 M4 in my local area was back in September of 2015. Stripper build, YMB, manual, 19s, leather, 69050 sticker if memory serves me correctly. I get the euro price and negotiated price down to 62568. I leased the car for 36months, 3k out of pocket, 800 tax included. BMW picked up one of my payments. I take a trip of a lifetime, get the car here, kept it 6 months and was offered $60K by CARMAX. The irony was Carmax trying to sell the car used for more than I paid for it new. I actually waited a week because I thought it was a mistake. It wasn't. Did euro delivery last year on a fully loaded 18 TTRS, great trip, sold the car a month after it got here, lost 5K. I am all locked in to go back to Welt to pick up an M2 Competition in September. We will see what happens when it gets here. Currently have a 15 GT3, its not going anywhere. You never know with Carmax

I know that this is an old-ish thread, but while browsing for used M3's, i found this on ebay, being sold by a wholesaler:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-M3/3724...dbkAu~&vxp=mtr

This IS the same car. What happened here???

That's interesting! Maybe OP got bored of it again and sold for a profit?

OP dumped the car after barely two months! So much for all the work going in to buy this car in the first place. Maybe he got bored with the car or simply wanted to sell for profit?

Edit: Found OP's for sale thread on the car. Perhaps he sold it back to Carmax, since it now ended up in an independent car dealer (most likely through auction)?

Profit was the plan all along. Enjoyed the car for 2 months no payments thanks to my CU, sold the car to a company called Vroom for $63,500 and sold the MPE for $2,900.

I actually really enjoyed the car but my this one was just by chance and too good a deal to pass up. My ideal F80 is a '18 BSM/SO ZCP 6MT

Vote for loss of rep points.

Forum busted their asses doing all the research and pulling in favors as can be seen in this thread for someone who was just in it to make a quick buck.

I know a nick I’ll never help out a again.

ohhhhh relax... nobody "busted their ass". Just some finger clicking on the keyboard and the thread title was merely a question if this deal was too good to be true.

I found the car, bought it, took it to be professionally inspected, enjoyed it, set up a few car cruises, sold some parts to other members that made them happy and got all my money back plus some. It was a win win for everyone...Plus this was my 5th BMW and 3rd M3 so I'm not new to this.

Now go spread that holiday cheer somewhere else

EDIT: Re read this old thread and saw you were definitely the most helpful so I take it back... I can accept if you no longer want to help me, but hopefully that doesn't ruin it for other guys
