F30 >> F80 Suspension Torque Specs
Hey guys, I (re)found this thread with all the torque specs on an F30.
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=970605 I imagine a lot of it (if not all of it) will be similar on the F80. But I'm wondering if anyone has the docs for the F80 torque specs. |

Did you install your own suspension mods on your F8X? What did you install? |

I installed JRZ Pros I used the e90 DIYs to help with the install. Going forward i would compare the f30 to the e92 values and likey use the higher torque of the two if they are different

I have the camber plats so I guess Sport. Its been a great set up on the track and very compliant on the street. My decision to go with them was based on feedback from a race shop out in CA that ran Time Trails with their F82 they had KW CS on the car (as a sponsorship deal) however other shops f8x competing in time trials with JRZs were like 3 sec. The shop had KW fly out their engineers to see if there was a valving problem with the CS to figure out why such a big time discrepancy. In the end the shop decided to replace the KWs with JRZ
what spring rates did you go with? I went with a street/track set up of 525# front and 700# rear....I could have gone higher Last edited by kitesurfer; 09-20-2015 at 05:38 PM.. |

You're telling me everything I wanted to hear. What camber are you running for the front/rear? Are you daily driving or is it more of a track car? And who are these "other guys with JRZs running 3 sec faster"? What other suspension components have you upgraded? Last edited by x.shell; 09-21-2015 at 04:55 PM.. |

Other than drilling the hole in the rear, what tricky situations have you run into while installing? I figured that it would be a walk in the park since I don't have to use any of the OEM top hats etc.

I edited my post above to make more sense. Placement of the remote canisters add more time...you know about the hole in the rear...if you have basic mechanical ability you will be fine
