It is not modular or in the trunk either since about 10 years ago, that is what I meant.

I couldn't believe that keyless entry was not standard before. Glad they fixed that.

I'm pretty sure it means the Child Seat subframe will be bolted directly to the chassis, and will have a modest drop with tighter ratios. I was told this by a source deep within the bowels of BMW.

What does FSC stand for? I was able to have mine coded and I didn't purchase the Exec Pkg or the HK.

Your coding included the enabling code (FSC) upload. The FSC is the cost of the activation and not the coding. Otherwise you will not be listening Sat Radio at all.

What about hud? That's the other thing I really wanted from exec package besides the now included CA, you can retrofit rear camera for 650$ so that I'm not concerned about it. Retrofitting HUD is crazy talk.

Please don't tell me they kept the exec package the same less sat radio and comfort access...

They will either break it up more (hopefully for those waiting to order) or add something to it like a more "premium" sound package...B+O or B&W for example...or combine it will all the cams...etc.

I had a loaner 328ix yesterday for my service...looking at the sticker seems the optioning breakdown is more al-a-cart for them than the M3/4 for sure...would be nice if they did that rather than the huge exec pack. This thing was loaded...but no M3...

Totally agree. I would definitely pay up for the ventilated seats and accept any marginal weight gain. Even the Mercedes C300 has an option for it!!
But not the C63.....if I remember right.

Would love to see Burmester, the only audio system I would ever pay up for, but I know it won't happen. B&O or B&W are ok, better suited for home applications in my opinion. But will concede all is better than current OEM.

Absolutely, B+O (and HK) are marketing driven companies, B&W and Burmester are engineering driven....no comparison...just have to be somewhat careful with the low to mid-range B&W stuff of late, high end which is near perfection they are still trying to perfect.

MY16 is now in the order bank but only showing two paint colors (Yas Mar Blue and Mineral Grey) and two interior colors (Sakhir Ext and Cloth Carbonstructure) with no options or packages to select. We are getting close to pricing to be revealed...
Means only these are the 2 available colors for 16??

Love like minded audio guys, been hooked myself for years. Have tried to explain it to others(like the wife) but they just don't get me.

Now back to our regular scheduled programming, BMWs!

That's good news since CA and Sirius are the only things I wanted in the exec package as others have also said.

As for the rear view camera, I thought that was mandatory on all US cars starting in 2016?

2018, but I'm hoping BMW will make it separate from the Exec pack. If not I'll just get an aftermarket and save $4300

lol no. It means the system is slowly integrating the MY16's. In a couple of week, the system should be fully updated with all the paints, interior, options and packages. I was just merely stating that the system showing MY16 M3 means that we are right around the corner from getting all the info on pricing.
Great ..will it be available in bmwusa.com too in few weeks to view

Any idea about base price increase and when lease deals will be available

I seriously hope they don't do this.

Some people don't want the all the bells and whistles that just make things more complicated down the road (in terms of reliability and repairs), not to mention the added weight.

I hope LED are standard since 340 will have them (minus adaptive part but who cares)

Led, back camera, and more colors at standard ext paint price is what we need on top of what was announced to be standard.
Also, exec pkg must be broken down into individual options.
