Yeah man. It entitles you to become more of an asshole. I love mine. The other day I saw a bum sleeping at a bust stop bench and let it rip in second gear to about 6k RPM and shut the throttle. Woke him the hell up and confused. I love being a BMW driver. We're the best.

Still waiting for my AWE but I've been playing with the stock exhaust everyday under bridges. Makes me feel 16 again

Get on it just enough to make it backfire when I let off...sounds like gunshots.

Will this happen at almost any revs and gear, as long as you punch it and then quickly let off?

Took delivery yesterday. The stock exhaust is the most underrated thing about this car, I think it sounds insane!

Could not agree more! Will have to hear something in person to justify spending more money on what I feel already sounds great.

I had my car stock for 4 months before insalling the M perfomance exhaust. Worth every $.

I liked the stock exhaust too but the MPE brings the car on another level.

Nothing like my M3 screaming when you put your foot down. Only problem is in no time you are WAY over the speed limit!

The M3/4 stock is loud but still too quiet sometimes for my taste. I only drive in Sport/Sport + mode so I do love the exhaust pop in 4th gear when you quickly let off a WOT. I also love the blip the exhaust makes when you shift gears on WOT.

MPE vs stock

I am waiting for my MG F82. Due in about two weeks. I have been considering the MPE. I know everyone says the sound is sic. Is there any noticeable performance gains as well?

I've read every response on this particular thread, and everyone is RAVING about the MPE. I'm currently on the fence between the MPE and the Eisenmann system. Truthfully, I haven't heard either in person, and videos don't help at all with this car for some reason as much as they did for the E92. My reasons for going MPE would be to keep the M theme going on with my car, keep it OEM+.

Does the MPE sound good at low RPM? Is it that noticeable?

I have the valves open now on my car, and I love the cold start, I just wish it stayed that way the entire time. How would you say it compares? Sorry for the questions, I'm just torn about this purchase. Thanks in advance!
