"Help" F80 totaled
Hello everyone,
I was involved in an accident last month and my F80 was considered a total loss. It doesn't look that bad in the photos however the repair estimates was close to $30k. So Geico is moving forward to total it. What I want to know is what should I accept for the vehicle? My car is a 2018 M3 comp with individual Imola red color with 24k miles. Geico offered me $64,600 should I press for more? Thanks in advance for the help. |

First. Glad you're OK. Cars can be replaced.
As far as your question, I would look for similar comparable vehicles in your area and see how the offer compares to what similar cars are selling for. It being an individual, it may be hard to find the same color, but you can get an idea. It's worth a try to get more, but it isn't guaranteed. 65k is pretty good though. Seems like right around what your car would sell for in this current market really. |

I agree, $64k seems good however I don’t want to leave any money on the table. So I’m open for opinions and how I should I should proceed.
My plans would be to take the money an put towards a new G80 so any extra I can get would be great. |

Damn - that's rough! I would be super frustrated in your shoes. It does not look like enough to total it out to my untrained eye. Granted, the damage is all to the front end, which is the most expensive area for the car.
I agree with others - $64k seems reasonable. Try to cherry pick some high for sale ads and go back to the insurance company if you want to try for more. You'll need at least 3 ads above their price. I also agree with the others. Pass on G80.

Glad you’re ok. $64K is a good price, especially from insurance. Take it.

64k is great. Take it and run.
Sucks that it happened but finding another individual color f80 shouldn’t be too difficult. I see them popping up often. It’s not g80 money but that thing is hideous. Good luck |

Thanks for all the input everyone. Wow you all have some real distain for the G80 😂🤣
I too hated the design but it has grown on me some release. But the interior and performance are next level. |

Had one blow by me the other day. Wicked fast but try as I might can’t get over the front. If it looked closer to the 3.0 CSL in the front it would be a generational all time great.
