I would change it every 5,000 on the dot with OEM filters and Motul 8100 Xcess Gen 2. I never once tracked it or took it to the drag strip so I never felt prompted to change it sooner. It was literally my daily driver. In 107,500 miles I only received the message to add more fuel one single time and it was coincidentally the last oil change before I blew it.

Here's the thread about my engine blowing. Will post the findings when I get a chance to tear it down. Probably wont happen until next year.

Took this pic a couple of weeks ago. No issues at all except a broken gas pedal. It's a 2019 M4 MT tuned with BM3 OTS stage 1 for 165,000 miles. Only thing that has been changed are the fluids, filters, and a lot of tires. Still on original brake pads. I engine brake probably more than I should.

That's awesome, do you have any oil consumption or any other symptoms due to high mileage??

2016 m4 57k miles . Running BM3 stage 1 tune . Only issue I’ve had was the PCV valve which happened two months ago . Replaced it . Other than that , it’s been smooth sailing and lots of smiles .
