Interchiller

Anyone have success with an Interchiller for the platform? Seeing the TMIC with a nice frost over it seems to be the craziest TMIC intake temp set up on the market. Im curious if anyone has used it on the s55 yet in the forums and you think its worth it. This would be perfect for high boost in the texas summers.

For anyone who is unaware, take a look

Eh, unless it has a separate A/C circuit your in-cabin air conditioning WILL be affected.

This Interchiller WILL NOT affect in cabin A/C performance at all.

That hasn’t been the case on other platforms using this. Maybe there’s updates, or F8x’s have a better A/C?

Their website offers a warranty and states it does not affect A/C performance. the S55 is their relatively new product

🤔
It can be a good option but the AC has to work inside the car also, otherwise I don't even consider it.

The FI InterChiller kit has 2 modes, street and race, cabin ac ONLY turns off in race mode (extra cooling). It's all on the faq page.

I’ll 100% be buying this in a couple months…stage 2 with all options for max frost!! Just waiting for the AUD/USD conversion rate to get a bit better in a month or two…could equate to a 10% discount.

I live in Arizona, Phoenix specifically…and with the summer heat we get, the InterChiller should really shine both on and off the track

I am definitely investing in one next year. This should be more convenient and beneficial than running meth for cooling IATs.

From Australia here. A buddy of mine had their most basic kit on his f80 which he daily drove and tracked hard! AC will works and drove it at the track. I have got the stage 2 kit with bigger pump and all the options. Im still 3-4 months away from my car being completed to show results.

Would this be pointless to run in IL with a shorter duration hot period, since TMIC stock is pretty solid.

So this helps with start and recovery times. As it turns off during a pull if I understand correctly.

Not sure how much it will actually help during an actual pull.

Anyone do any pulls with this before and after?
