Deleting reflectors on front and back bumpers??

I have a question?i live in canada and cant seem to find any place that sells the painted reflectors to replace the orange/red ones on the bumpers..alot in u.s. for sale but with the conversion rate plus custom fees and taxes will cost alot..so im wondering has anyone just removed the original reflectors and painted them the color you wanted?does it look cheap?any suggestions? Thanks

The painted reflectors are stock reflectors that are painted. Underneath it's still the same reflector. So if you have a good body shop that can match the paint you should be good.

You will need new double sided tape/adhesive.

Just wrapping the reflector? It's not going to match your paint. But if that's not what youre looking for, then there's no reason you couldn't.

I'm pretty sure iND ships to you and pricing should be terrible. You want your car to look perfect right? Its your best bet. The wrapping could work but it won't match 100%. Ebay also sell pre-painted reflectors.

At least you have decent healthcare and reasonable prices for medications.

You can definitely remove your existing reflectors and paint them, how cheap or non-cheap it looks comes down 100% to the quality of painter at the body shop who does the work for you. I have always had IND reflectors on my cars and the paint matches very well but it's possible to get an even closer paint match by having a local body shop paint your existing reflectors. As said above, you will need new 3M double sided tape to re-install them and make sure you clean off alllll of the old tape residue first to make sure the new reflectors + tape sit flush with the outside of the bumper.

If your car is mineral grey, then you can buy 'smoke tint' BMW side-marker reflectors on ebay for < $20 that are a really good match.
