I keep my speed warning set at 88mph...lol
I hit it a lot and it makes me smile every time but I was a kid in the 80s. I've hit triple digits but not much over 100-110. It can get there fast that's for sure.

I hit 145mph on my stock f80 at Autoclub speedway in Fontana during a track day.

This wasn’t the run where i hit That speed but same session. The video is from my friends e90 m3 as i passed him on the straight

139 mph is fastest I’ve hit in one of my F80’s so far. Didn’t take too long to get there either.

We ride mainly the infield, and spend only a portion on the oval straight (...basically the stretch on the pit lane side of the oval; we drop into a chicane from the banked oval into effectively our "Turn 1"). I've had my 848 up to about 150mph before having to brake hard for the drop into the chicane. I'm sure my Panigale V4 would eclipse that speed easily.

I got her up to about 158MPH during an event, so we had a runway all to ourselves...might have gotten a bit more but I was getting close to the runoff zone and didn't want to push my luck hehe

I wish I had the self control to ride bikes, everyone is always surprised I dont. I always say if I did I would already be dead. Heck almost killed myself many times skiing because I cant hold back.

Everyone has different speed tolerances and perceptions, but conditions play a factor also. Wife had no problem me maxing out (160) the 540 wagon rental in Germany and cruising every opportunity //// I got at full speed. She felt more comfortable with their great roads and responsible drivers.

She gets a little concerned when I go over 100 here in the US most of the time.

M5 highest 165
M4 highest 135
X5 highest 125
540 highest 120
i3 highest 98
Pissed cant get the i3 to 100, that was in the 2017, havent tried in the 2019, though had a loaner i3s to 103

I did about 138 at a track event the other day. I regularly hit 100-115 on highway and exit ramps.

Years ago I did 156 in my E60 M5. I didn't hit the speed governor, but I must have been close. I was on a wide open highway in WV, during the day in perfect visibility. I could see 2-3 miles straight up the road. It was super stable, but I had visions of getting arrested or dying.

It was too fast to look at the speedo.

I passed a ricer being a jerk at his 140 and shifted 5 to 6 as I gapped. Straight hwy shot. Paul's E85. RE71Rs. No limiter.
