So SB Carbon have just released their forged carbon M3/M4 kit. Thoughts?

Do not like forged carbon at all, normal carbon weave is a thing of neatness and beauty, this is just a mess.

This.

And as another poster said, it looks like a kitchen countertop.

Are race cars starting to implement this as a newer and stronger body panel?

Or are the CF manufacturers wanting to revitalize an overly saturated market?

its recycled carbon shreds glued together. Because they know you wont pay for "recycled" they call it "forged" and they are putting it on exotics so people want it.

Better get what you want from the parts counter before it gets phased out lol... realistically speaking I think the aftermarket will boom for the F8X once the prices of the car come down.

The N54 tuning scene is the strongest it has ever been and the platform has been around since 2006-2007.

Let's not throw stones in a glass house. 90% of aftermarket parts from wheels to body kits to suspension components are dog sht quality anyways - untested, unproven, made in China, marketed toward "enthusiast" forums like these.

Nothing wrong with look good, feel good.

Thats a good point; they also still make new parts for the e46, so I suppose I retract my statement.

You're right, we'll all stop driving our cars any day now. Might as well just junk them all.

most platforms actually have the best aftermarket support after 4-5 years. f80 is just now going to take off since there are more used on the market and are accessible for cheaper
