I think Bimmertech is doing a retrofit for a front camera @$500.

Definitely got those, and makes parking in my condo's spot all the more easy.

I've never had a problem with parallel parking, but this just makes it that much easier not to curb wheels or park too close to other cars.

I would get them again. Every time

Had them in one of my previous cars, barely ever used them. Parking sensors, rear view camera, and tilting passenger side mirror is all I need for parking.

Agreed. My wife's car is an Infiniti FX and on that big beast the surround cameras come in handy. I'd love them on an M4, but since I'm going vert, it's still undecided. The backup camera is a definite plus.

Speaking of the vert, I want to see ME sitting in the driver's seat in my top-down view!

I have a loaner 428 GC and it has the Drivers assistance pack and although I was on the fence before, I think it will be a box I will check off when its time to order my 2016. Its some really cool tech!

There is a lot of satisfaction in backing into parking spaces without looking back AT ALL. Just look at the lines in the camera and park perfectly every time. I do the same while backing out of the garage.

I love the cameras and the hud. Most people dismiss them without fully experiencing the features.

I like the option. Is it a necessity? No but, it is the coolest thing since sliced bread for parallel parking. You can NOT curb your rims unless you fall asleep at the wheel!

I see that a lot from people on the forums. They dismiss it b/c they haven't fully explored all the features and function. The new HUD is a huge upgrade in quality and function over the first previous generation.

The cameras are very useful and once you use it, you will not want to go back. Makes parallel parking much easier and/or just pulling into a regular parking spot a breeze. The only thing I would like to see them change is by adding a backup split view that shows both a top perspective and rear facing view.

I had them on my X5 first, then the 7. When given the choice I'd get them all day and I spec'd my M4 order with this feature as a standalone since I didn't want all the driver nanny's.

I didn't think I wanted all the driver nannies either but after it woke me up when I was drifting out of my lane on a recent road trip, I am convinced I'd rather have them and turn them off when I do not want them to bother me. Otherwise they are pretty useful.

I have top view camera on my 2011 x3 and I really like it. Even though you are not pulling into some tight spot, it helps you to see if the car is fully parked into the spot and the risk of hitting the curb(don't want that for m3s) is greatly reduced as you can stop it sooner. You need to see one to experience it.
I did not order it with the package though, I prefer having the small glove box for sun glasses n small random stuff.

They're great in the city. I use side view at least twice a day coming out of my home and work garages to look for pedestrians its actually funny - I manage to freak someone out at least once a week b/c I'm not looking at them but the screen and they think I'm going to start rolling again after I initially stop. ðŸ˜

Top view is great for parking.

I actually never use the plain rear view.

I don't want to get the full blown drivers assistance package. It'll be nice to be getting the rear view cam with the parking sensors in the exec pkg, also new for me.
Have them on my M6, have never used them once.

I think for 750, it's not that expensive and I'm gonna include them. The other features on the drivers assistance package don't seem that necessary to me so I won't spend the whole 1700.

Top view on the X5 is the tits. I won't order another car without it.
