Sirius Album Art

Hi,

Does anyone know if this can be coded/updated on a 2015 M4? My car is in for service and the 2016 328xi loaner that they gave me has it.

My 2016 M4 has it. So I would guess it could be done.

I never listen to Sirius and so I haven't tried this on my car, but, if it works with NBT, SDARS_ALBUM_COVER should be the relevant code. It is set by default to "nicht_aktiv" on 2015s and to "aktiv" on 2016.

I wonder why they are wasting precious audio bandwidth in their compressed bandwidth for fucking album art instead of, you know, music.

I typically listen to the bpm channel which does not have album artwork. I changed over to the all nation channel and noticed album artwork.
