repeated text message re-sends

Greetings. On my '15 M3, I have 6NS (enhanced bluetooth). When paired with my LG G4, I'm able to send/receive text messages.

However, some people receive the messages I send via the car 4-6-8 times, often repeating hours later, one time a day later! I checked my phone, and the messages sent from the car appear to still be "sending" with a delay clock icon shown. If I manually delete the messages, they do stop sending.

Anyone else experience anything like this? Ideas?

Thanks,
Pete

not sure what the answer is to this, but I wonder if you can get emails on iDrive with your LG G4 - something I can no longer do with my iPhone iOS 9.x

Curious. How are you entering in these text messages? Via Voice/Dictate?

Correct -- using the DragonSpeak (currently on the trial mode). I dictate, hit ok, then hit send, then hit "ok" on the "sending" screen, which takes me right back to the ready-to-send screen.

Emails -- I haven't tried yet -- I'm an android/Gmail user, and to do emails I'd have to lower my security settings in google's authentication scheme. The risk/benefit ratio isn't there for me until they fix that.
