Any discounts on BMW Performance Driving School for M Owners?
Does anyone know of, or have heard of any Performance Driving School discounts offered to M Owners?
I may be getting the 2 day Performance Driving School in Thermal for myself this holiday season and well every penny saved would be a penny to put into the f80 enhancements. Much Appreciated. |

Here in Australia you get the "intensive" course form BMW as part of your purchase price (M Cars Only) http://www.bmw.com.au/com/en/insight...ience/courses/
Corporate (Advantage) customers get a reduced rate for the other courses. |

I don't think you have to wait a year once you join BMWCCA to get the M school discount. I believe you can save immediately. You do have to wait a year from joining in order to get a rebate when buying a new car.

"A membership of one year or more immediately preceding the delivery date of the vehicle is required to take advantage of this program" Good news is that a BMWCCA discount for M schools would be available immediately. You just need your member number. Sometimes they don't even bother to ask :-) Probably the most money you'll save with the club. The M school discount used to be stronger too. I think it's only 10% now? |

When I bought my M6, they'd give you an M school. I think it's the same for the 5 series. I guess the 3 & 4 are not included even though I paid almost as much for the 4 as the 6 a few years ago.

My mistake. Thought you had to be a member for a full year before you got the discount. Thanks.

15% is definitely a solid savings on a $4k course, thank you for that. I was hoping they were going to offer a holiday incentive (especially at Thermal to gain exposure) but soo far I've only seen a $100 refer a friend shopBMWusa credit.
I recall the month following my e90M delivery in 2008, BMW started throwing in one day M school at the EC PDC as a Vehicle Purchase Incentive. I believe they only did that for about 6 months right at the height of the recession when M's and most BMWs were just collecting dust at the dealership. I was soo bummed that I had missed that promotion by 2 weeks. |

I got invited twice, one for each location. It's fun but I'm not sure it's worth paying the price they advertise. I think there are better options to spend your money to have fun and learn how to drive in "someone else's" cars.

There's always Bondurant:
http://www.bondurant.com/programs/course-search-node I plan on taking a few courses at Bondurant. They're local to me so the savings really add up, and while they're not using BMW M's, they are using a variety of high performance vehicles.

BMW CCA Discount available immediately (15%)...
Do a 1 or 2 day M school and then you are eligible to do a 2-Day Advanced school at Virginia International Raceway or Road Atlanta (also with discount). Do a 2-Day Advanced School and maybe you'll get an invite to the yearly Nurburgring trip... ;-)
