Sold 1 sided snow tires?
Ok, I need some input here!
These are Michelin pilot alpin's (PA4's). Supposed to be a great tire. They clearly look directional to me, and have a side of the tire that says, "outside" but no direction arrow like other directionals I've had. But look at the tread, obviously not symmetrical. It looks to me like I have 2 pass rear tires in this pic. I'd say they were mounted wrong, but they say "outside" on the outside of each tire. It just doesn't make sense for the tread to be angled opposite directions. The part that's even more messed up is the fronts are the same way, could a bmw dealer really have sold me 4 pass side wheels?!? Let me know what you think |

That's normal, the tires are designed asymmetrical and can be rotated

I appreciate the responses, apparently they are asymmetrical but not directional.
I'm also surprised I never noticed the PS4s are also like this as I love those tires and they're on my other 2 cars... it's just not as obvious as these. |
