F8X M3/M4 M-Performance Exhaust w/ Carbon Tips - weigh-in

Maybe it's just me, not that impressed with the build quality, especially with the rear section. There's def M tax on this too, going off Turner's website the exhaust is ~$5k with the Ti tips, $5.5k for CF tips


Personally, I'd rather go with a non-OEM full DP-back system from Remus, Gintani, Eisenmann, Undercover Performance, etc. etc.

I think its just you. The build quality is pretty excellent. It would have been nice if it were a full system I agree with that. Im guessing that having an OEM exhaust option that removes cats isnt something BMW wanted to do. Im personally replacing my secondaries with resonators.

When comparing prices with those other systems you mentioned I dont believe they are titanium so shouldnt the MPE be more? Akra slip on is still more.

If you go to shopbmwusa.com and choose BMW of Monrovia as your center, choose the M3 as your vehicle. They have the M-performance exhaust for $3520 and the titanium tips for $180, the carbon tips for $280. I bought my PE exhaust from them a few yours ago for my 335 well under the regular Msrp. Hopefully I didn't look at it wrong this time, I checked twice and took a screen shot but I can't upload from my phone.

Exhaust tips are $180\280 each. You need to multiply by 4 for the total price.

Yes but still not to bad of a price, on the cheaper than what I have seen from other sites.

I got mine installed from my dealer for $5750CAD ($4600USD). So $4392USD installed is a reasonable price.

Sure we can meet up anytime but I live in Marietta so Cumming is the wrong way. Dont worry tho you can get on the mountain up 575.

A group of us had lunch yesterday and I think we are gonna try for a mountain cruise in a couple weeks.

tom @ eas , CanAutM3 and 3er is the cold start a lot louder on the MPE? Worried about waking up the entire neighborhood at 6am every morning :P
