Individual Ithaca Verde?

Would the m4 wear it well or would it be a massive fail?

Being that i'm a cornell grad, anything to do with Ithaca gives me the chills (not in a good way, shit it was cold as hell up there. and everyone drove subarus and priuses)

But, that color, pretty sweet. I think it would be unique and look pretty cool.

Go for it!

I could only see it on a Lamborghini. Although the Signal Green on the M4 was really NICE!

Thanks I'm guessing fail, trying to think of a way to switch it up. I've had 2 m4 already one mineral grey I sold to a friend then an alpine white that was damaged at the dealer while in for service. The idea of a 3rd makes me feel like a need to switch it up a bit, or choose something else this round. Mercedes has a gt s coming in today I'm going to demo and the z06 is actually ok looking for an American ride. I just wish the comp pack or something was avaialble, I may even just ask for permission to do the dinan tune in writing.anything to help me get excited about getting back into one. The fact that they damaged my ride and are only willing to give me 68 for an 83k vehicle also is quite annoying. I had that car for under 6 months and has 4,000 miles on it.

I just ordered this! Or rather, my CA is checking to see if they will do it. If so, it's a go!

Here's what I'm ordering...

M4 convertible
Individual Verde Ithaca
Full Silverstone leather
Carbon fiber trim
DCT
Adaptive suspension
Exec package
Lighting package
Black 19" wheels

I'm a little torn on the interior color actually. It seems like black would be the default color and I'm sure it would look great. SS might look awesome too, but I'm not 100% sure. The dark brown might look good too, but it's a bit risky...

Nice pic! Thanks for that! I used to have a Gallardo in Arancio Borealis, and ever since then I've loved those bright pearlescent Lamborghini colors. I'm sure it's going to look a bit crazy but that's fine with me. My wife's got a white 335 I can drive if I need to go undercover.

There's more pearl in it, so it's hard to get a good chop. I based this on the signal green from the original. I didn't bother with the wheels.

So...at first glance, maybe. I'll look for a pearlescent color to start with. That may help.

And yes, I know I missed, and inadvertently did some spots.
Damn, that E92 looks sick. My new desktop.

I personally, wouldn't do it unless the M4 in question was very heavily modified (700hp+ caliber) to match the straight line punch of the lambos that wear that color from the factory.

My CA heard back from BMW on this. It's $7,000, and will take 1 month for research, and if it can be done, an extra 3 months to produce. So, about 6 months to delivery.

The price is what I expected but my life's too short to wait 6 months for one... there are cars I haven't even kept for 6 months If I was in a different situation where I had 6 months left on a lease it would make sense.

I didn't yet... If I go with an M4 I may just do something easy like YMB or mineral grey. I'm actually thinking about getting a better Ferrari instead. Trading the F430 on a lightly used California is probably much more (fiscally) prudent then leasing a new M4, since there will be very little depreciation involved.

The California is kind of in the sweet spot between my current car and the M4 - 4 seats, hard top convertible, DCT, CCBs, and it sounds awesome. Yeah the rear end is kind of ugly

I test drove a Cali T last year at a Ferrari event near me (the unveiling/test drive for the new Cali T). Fantastic car! I would highly recommend that!

My buddy had a black and gold F430 Scud that he diary drove. Just sold it a few months back and picked up a 991 GT3.

I think I'll let the Cali T depreciate for another couple of years, but I did just pull the trigger on a sweet Nero/Rosso pre-T California. It ticks all the boxes - even has the shift LEDs on the steering wheel!

We'll probably will end up replacing our 335 with an M4 in a year or so though, they are great cars, I just need a noisier car as 'my' car. I had a 997.2 Turbo S for 3 months before I got rid of it. Fantastic car in almost all respects - but it sounds like a Dyson (and not a loud one), took away a lot of the fun factor for me.

I agree with the 997s. They needed more sound for sure. I do liek the sound of the 991s...
On that note, I just bought a dyson... nothing bad to say about it at all, sound and all haha

I did too (I wish I was talking about a 911). That is one hell of a machine.

You know you're getting older when you get excited about a vacuum cleaner showing up at your door

About the color, I love it. One of my favorites on Lamborghinis. I think the M4 could pull it off, not sure about the M3 though, and that's what I'm set on.
