600 whp on 91 octane?

Hello
I have a 2018 F80 6sp Comp and have been collecting parts over the last year:

Full Race Turbos
SSR downpipes
Active Auto mid pipe
CSF intercooler/heat exchanger
VRSF intercooler and J pipes
BM3 license
Catch can
CrankHub

I will have the car dyno tuned (hopefully baseline and after)
What power should I expect on California 91? I was hoping to hit 600whp/550wtq
Thank you
Sam

Careful on ACN91 regardless of what turbos you have on -just really lousy quality fuel. One method that's sometimes used for safety is to tune aggressively on pump gas and use a small amount of water/meth to bring the tune back into conservative range -very different strategy than leaning on meth for fueling. Without that, I'd guess something under 600 is more likely.

Post your results when you do it!

My own experience with pure turbo 2+ with 50/50 meth gives me 580. kratos turbo 50/50 gives 630.

Hmmm so would pump ACN91 on upgraded turbos, without meth, get you into the 550whp range? Is it even worth it then?

Sub'd for the results.

Make sure you datalog your dyno runs, it is equally as important to see how the car is handling all this power

Consider running E30-50-85 instead of 91...

Why run crappy fuel through a good setup? The Hybrid (2H) map for 91 isn't ACN so you should add 1-2gal of E85 to your ACN91 fuel.

There is a 2H map for E30.

E85 would require a custom map, and would maximize what you have.

Also consider if your race turbos take longer to spool than stock or fast-spool or hybrids. You might add lag with big turbos but not have the fuel quality or capacity to make all the potential HP.

Does anyone know how much E85(Ignite Racing 5 gallon barrels of E85 and not pump E85) to mix with 91octane for a full tank of E30 mix??? I rather pay a little more for full E85 ignite racing in a barrel than pump E85 which varies...

Thanks guys I appreciate all the info
The reason I am avoiding e85 and meth is convenience. I don't have access to E85 in my area. As for meth, I had an issue with my snow kit on a mustang back in the early 2000's.
Is there a recommended turbo I should go with that doesn't sacrifice too much low end and makes good power on 91 pump?

What you're talking about is called "pail E85"...the quality stuff in 5gal pails. I like Stinger brand, they have pails of E98 and 104+ too.

If you get down to the — — showing on the dash it leaves just about 15gal of empty tank space. To mix E30 it's 4gal of E85 with 11gal of E10 pump gas (91 or 93 octane). To make it easy I like 5gal E85 with 10gal of gas to get E35. The E30 maps run nice on 35%.

If you spend $5 on a gasohol tester you can test local pump E85. If it tests at 85% it's just as good as pail E85 and much MUCH cheaper. The Philly Wawa has E that I've tested at 85% repeatedly. A Sheetz closer to me was only 77%.

If you do stick with the good pail stuff know it's a real pain to pour those things. Get yourself a 5gal Surecan to get your E to the gas station without spilling any. I stick a 3/8 silicone hose in the pail and siphon it into the Surecan, super easy no mess.

Definitely interested in the results as this is my exact goal (except 92oct here in WA) whenever I move to an M4. Currently in a supercharged E92 M3 which should make around 540whp (will be on the dyno soon).

Was hoping for close to 600whp on pump with Pure Stage 2+ in an M4. Same as the OP there is no E85 here and I have zero interest in it anyways. I've seen 560whp ish FBO with just 91oct and north of 600whp with 93oct, both with just stage 2. So somewhere in the middle with 2+ and 92oct seems feasible. I'd possibly consider meth, but don't want a meth dependent tune.

There's E85 all around us and most of the stations I've tested all have E82-88% ethanol thru the year, that's pretty consistent. I ran it on my s4 (E50) without issues for several years, not sure what you mean by fluctuations. Pearson fuels do a good job as they try to keep an avg around 82% to qualify for grants in CA. In SoCal Pearson is using renewable naphtha instead of gasoline for their blending but not yet implemented in NorCal.

I don't work for them but have a good contact there that I reach out to for updates.
Areas for all E station in CA, enjoy;

Don't forget Propel fuels, awesome quality too.

I've tested the following locations when filling up, I also fill several 5 gal containers that use and test them once I get home. Sunol and I also pick up my methanol there (Torco), Fremont (Propel), Concord, Brentwood, Tracy, Lodi, Stockton, Salida, Farmington, Elk Grove( Propel), Berkeley (Propel) and Oakland (Propel). All have tested >80%.
I have yet to find a station lower than 80%, I use the Fuel-it kit for testing.

I'm very interested in this as well because I'm in California and will have a similar setup once my car is done in the shop. 2018 M4 comp with crank hub Dinan cold air intake vrsf catless downpipes with dme tuning stage 3 tune. The csf intercooler and active autowerke equal midpipe will be installed the week after next. From what DME tuning has posted that the stage 3 tube will get my M4 to 590hp with catless downpipe but I havent been ale to dyno my car yet. Unfortunately in California we have 91 oct at best so i mix 4 gallons of e85 in the tank and thats the best i can do so far. I've been looking for places to dyno my car but idk where to go for that since everything is closed for the most part.

Attempting that much power on just 91 Octane is like saying "here, hold my beer and watch this!"

You can do it but need to run a proper size turbo with very little backpressure probably a GT35 size or a little bigger. Typical hybrid upgrades people run can’t do it on 91 safely IMHO. At least to do it safely and not risk shit blowing up.

Damn bro, that's the highest I've ever seen out of a pump. My highest was E88 in Lodi and the rest of stations on avg exactly E85, good find.
