Slalom was fun in the wet , but very difficult to get a winning time , when other groups did it in the dry ... in fact the Mini Coopers were quicker than the M2's on the slalom when we did it |

I have my drive day booked on the 3rd March @ the Island in a few weeks!!! Very excited... What kind of stuff did you guys do? Laps? Can you push it or is it quite held back? Oversteer, skid pans etc etc? General run down of the day?
Thanks D |

Great fun Danny.
My only complaint is that there’s various entrants with varying abilities. When doing laps in M2 or M3’s (4 cars following lead instructor), if you happen to be behind a novice/cautious driver, you will need to restrict your speed to the guy/gal in front. I remember to my utter frustration when a gentleman in front of me was lifting off on start finish straight as soon as he’d hit 160km/hr. This is the pic of the speedo of the instructor at the same start/finish line on the hot lap (I was lucky enough to be sitting in front passenger seat and got the whole two laps on video) Last edited by MOSTRO; 02-06-2019 at 01:58 AM.. |
