M4 CS Apple CarPlay possible?

Hello,
on the bmw site it says apple carplay isn't available on my M4 CS whilst on bimmertech it says i would be able to connect with apple carplay.

Anyone knows what it takes to get this on my M4 CS?

Yes you can. But you need to change many things. Find one store who do this car electronics and i am sure they will help you.
I have 15 m4 without apple car play. i found a store in my country who does it. but it was expensive in my country and i gave up then.

I suggest saving the money and effort and go without it.

You probably just need CarPlay activation and a WiFi antenna.

Or you can install a F80 Android 10.25 unit with CarPlay add on. Every time you start the car, it goes into OEM NBT/EVO interface. Long press idrive controller menu button put screen into Android interface. You can choose CarPlay in there

Look at the ConnectedDrive store at your iDrive screen... most probably it is there to order.

If not available then it is not available in your country. Contact BimmerTech then.

I have CarPlay on my CS. I never use it though, since the CarPlay phone interface is not as well integrated as the one in iDrive itself.

do you have problems with playing spotify music or any music app with the car? because we have the problem with our minis and bmw that when we play music sometimes the music 'fades out' so it becomes badder quality for a few seconds.

we dont have this issue with playing over USB

I use Spotify via CarPlay without any issues.
