That's why I'm surprised they keep making cars faster...I don't get why you need all that speed. Also, the roads in that part of I-95 are terrible, not sure why you'd go over 100mph...not to mention how many cops patrol that area....and, wtf...7pm? If you're going to do it...don't race during rush hour

Just sad, life is hard enough without all the self inflicted wounds.
Terrible consequences for something so meaningless. |

I live right near there. Drive that road often. It is where road widens out and traffic opens up after cars are criss crossing for Pelham Pkwy/ Gun hill road/ Hutchingson Pkwy exits. Flat 3 lane straight towards Bartow ave exit which is Mall exit. Lots of "blind" lane changes happen there. Worst place to speed because people often jump lanes real quickly trying to get to the Mall.

This just adds to the negative stigma that is associated with BMW and M3/M4 drivers nowadays. Growing up it was a rare sight to see a M car and when I did I lusted over it as a kid. Only the people who knew what the ///M stood for or with certain stature was able/would to get one. Fast forward to now and you have more punk kids hood rats driving these cars like idiots all over the road ruining the reputation for the rest of us.

Those roads down there are no joke. I get being frustrated by slow traffic and wanting to gun it as soon as there's a break in the traffic, but down there you just can't do it. That corridor can slow to a halt as fast as it breaks up.

i was driving through the NY on the way back from Boston and those highways are no joke. One second your going 60....the highway bends, and boom traffic has grinded to a halt
