Turner skid plate installation - Is this correct?

I installed it today. When I finished I noticed this soft rubber piece along the back part of the oil cooler.

Is that they way it's supposed to be? It's a tight fit so not sure where else it could fit but wanted to check. Don't want the rubber piece to melt/burn.

Thanks.

I'd guess they sealed it in order to force the air through the cooler, if it goes around its less efficient.

Got it, that's helpful. I'll ask Turner too just to check if that's the way it's supposed to fit.
