mine was by far the worst, I had to replace 2 of HPFP's. Still, really enjoyed that car, it was unbelievably sporty for a regular 3 series. Great car, even with the issues.

interesting to note that all 4 of us are still driving BMW's. 3 of us had our N54's for 5 years or more, one still has his at 133k miles with FBO now going on 8 years old.

I had a 2010 335i M Sport Coupe that I traded in on my 2015 M4 two years ago this month. I was a great car but when I got my inheritance from my mother's estate, I wanted to move up to an M4. I never had a bit of trouble with the 335i, no HPFP issues at all. I read where BMW changed suppliers for the HPFP in October 2009. My 335 was a December 2009 build. My M4 gives me everything the 335 did, just a lot MORE of it. To me, the S55 motor feels like the N54 on a double dose of steroids.

Had the GT350 for 6 months.

Good:
Great on the track where I could keep it around 6000+ rpm. Great tranny, breaks and tires; excellent traction and cornering grip. No over-heating since 2017 are fitted with track pack as standard. Really amazing package for the track. More amazing if you factor in the price. Also quite comfortable with the magnetic suspension.

Bad:
Sluggish on the street since all the power are above 5000 rpm. Vague clutch feeling with stupid 2-stage clutch spring. Jumpy steering on rough road. Crappy fit and finish with wide panel gap, terrible smell of glue and plastic all the time. Definitely not a good daily for me. Exterior paint is a joke. The dealer who bought the car from me thought the car had an accident.

Problematic:
Strange shake at high rpm, I thought the car was falling apart the first time I hit the redline. Dealer said it is normal. Who knows.
My car doesn't burn oil but I only had 3500 km on it. Few track days and some daily mileages.

Overall comparing to the M4, GT350 is better prepared for the track: 295/305 PSS tires, magnetic suspension, 5.2L high-reving NA V8 and a sharp manual tranny make a superb package. On the street it just feels like a cheap Mustang with a loud exhaust.

1- I really wanted a GT350 so I bought it. I was really excited about the engine. I had heard about ford working on a flat crank years ago and didn't think they were going to make it.

2- it was my daily driver and it was ok but the cheapness of the car and build quality started bothering me. If it's just a fun car then I guess most people won't care.

3- I hated the clutch... absolutely horrible. This is after installing the steeda spring.

4- Engine is a little rough. Really felt like it's going to fall apart near redline. I guess that's what you get when you make a large FPC engine.

5- if you are driving it as a daily then you're just hauling around in a plain old mustang. I guess they should've done a better job making it a GT350 on the inside. Maybe Alcantara dash and headliner? On the seats with partial leather?? How about CF trim?

I realize aftermarket could've fixed this but that's aftermarket. I paid $9k for GTS interior on my Porsche, I would've done the same here.

Again I realize that if it's your fun weekend car then it's a great car for the money.
When accelerating from a standstill to let's say 60 MPH, does it throw you back in the seat like a ZL1 or Hellcat would or is it dull as you say because of the low RPMs?

Did you measure your personal 0-60 time in the GT350?
