My F250, the fumoto drain valve was at the bottom of the oil pan too and I never had anything hit it or pull the valve handle. The M3 is WAY lower but it appears there is enough of an inset that it would be safe regardless but again, I haven't jacked mine up and slid under there yet.

The dealer stripped the bolt. I am just glad I was able to repair it without replacing the oil pan.
Just for reference I purchased the car new 7 miles on the clock. The dealer did all the oil changes up to 50k. When i attempted the 60k oil change the bolt was stripped.

Bought it used with 38k miles last March it is my “daily” (I have 3 daily’s)
It’s either a March or April 2014 build and hit 44k miles yesterday nothing bad so far just some squeaky brakes and m logo seat cracking emblems nothing in the almost year I’ve owned it and neither did the guy before me have any problems

Critz BMW is the best Bmw dealer I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot of bmw dealers.

Gotcha. I had a valvoline instant oil change place strip one on my work beater 20yrs ago. I had to put a new pan in because they did further damage installing their pan saver... It amazes me how often that happens, not sure if it's going to quickly or that they just don't care. But it's why I do everything I can to do my own maintenance now.

54,200 here. Had a few issues which were sorted under warranty:

Broken rear spring

EDC sensor

Wheel Speed Sensor

Instrument Cluster was also replaced

Apart from that, all good

15' M4 @102K and counting. Daily Driver rain snow or shine. Drive around 25-30k a year. 90 mile daily commute 5 days week. Bolt ons/BM3. Loving every bit of it. No major issues. Coming from multiple other M cars and bmws this M4 is the most reliable i've had. Car still looks great outside and in, many people think its new or some weekend low mile car lol

what kind of maintenance/repairs have you done to the car? How often do you change the spark plugs and has the suspension started to show signs of wear?

I have 78k miles on my car and plan on keeping it for a long time.

Regular maintenance stuff as far as brakes, oil, tires, etc. Alternator went out at 60K ish, valve cover gasket leak 90k ish, spark plugs i'd say every 50K?, which reminds me I should probably change mine out. Suspension no issues but I also changed out to swift springs, optioned with cs suspension settings. The only thing thats wearing at the moment is my steering wheel. I don't really want to lose heated steering with an m performance wheel, so I plan to get it rewrapped.

Bought my '16 F82 this past mid November with 21,000 as a CPO from dealer. Have 22k and change on it now. Just got O2 sensor replaced (engine light was coming on and off since Christmas). Getting used to and discovering so many things about this car. I love it and have always wanted one. Been a real LONG time since I've owned a RWD ride. This thing just might be able to keep up with my K1200R 😎

Which model do you recommend? Sounds like a good idea and I want to try it.

F82 from November 2015 with 56000 miles (90.000 KM). Had my horn replaced and the right side mirror because some internal component broke. Other than that no major issues with the exception of pebbles getting stuck between the rotor and the heatshield (CCB).
