Residual for 10k is 61%. Money factor is .00188. Recommend doing 7 MSDs to get that down to .00153. That's typically an easy $50/month savings. There's also $3500 cash back and $1000 loyalty right now. Shoot for 10% before rebates for 11.5-12.5 off MSRP.

Based on NY tax upfront, 7 MSDs (which you get back), fees, and 1st payment. Looks like $700 is possible. With tax rolled in, at NY rates, $790.

Biggest issue is finding a lower cost car since many that are left are either strippers or loaded.

I'm in a m3cs 36/36 for just over 800 with just taxes and fees down

U sure your resids are right off of msrp? Included the rebates and money being offered?
Whatttt
Right? CS should be $1000+/mo.
There are enough people who got deals the last few weeks that u should see 1000/mo is not a good deal. But honestly I'm done trying to convince....
So you got the price down to $80k then? Because that's the only way you get mid $800s before tax with zero down.
Seems off by about $350/mo

$4500 due at signing 10,000 miles. 36 months. I don't know the rest. I know he always give me a better deal than any BMW dealer. Other dealership wanted $1200 a month for the same option car.

I kid you not. Whenever he gives me a price. No BMW dealers in the NY tristate area can never beat it. Including Pennsylvania.

$4500 is about $2500 in cap cost reduction. Your true monthly payment is actually 725+(2500/36)=$794. Is the $725 you quoted including tax? Now you are around $865/mo. On a $79k car that's okay.$800/mo is about what I would consider a decent deal for an $80k car.

The other dealers quoting you $1200 are high. That's way too much.

His profile says NY, so depending where he is his tax on 725 would be around $2,200 or more. Then you have first payment so he's at $3k of the 4500. Lastly, some dealerships put the $925 acquisition fee as up front costs as well as any BS dealer fees (the "fees" portion of taxes and fees up front). So it's possible the $4500 doesn't include any cap cost reduction. Worst case if the fees were rolled in, he has 1500 cap cost.

This is a perfect example why everything has to be spelled out when people want their deals judged. Some people put these fees into the monthly and just pay tax and first payment up front and others do not. So dealerships charge outrageous fees and others do not.

$725 include's taxes. Yes.
Do you have a breakout of the $4500? Then we could back out the deal you got assuming the $725 has tax rolled in. I personally recommend you have them send you the lease worksheet with all the info.

unless there is something he isn't telling us, this is a very good deal, given NY tax.

It's simple math

M3
MSRP $79k
10k/36 mo
0.00188
61%
8.75% tax rate

You would have to negotiate 14% off MSRP ($68k) and $1855 drive off (1st month, DMV, doc, cap reduction tax). Monthly including tax will be $722/mo.
