Coding Traffic (ARTTI) / Speed Limit Info?

I'm in the same boat, have the tech package and the executive package (canadian model), pretty much all of the options except for the speed limit info.

Shawn,

I am also in this boat. I have a US Spec 335i that does have 6UH but my traffic does not work while I am stationed over here in Germany.

I spoke to every dealer tech they could point me to and they all said its not possible but I believe they just dont actually know.

Is there a way to get my traffic working over here?

No I dont have 6AM but I do have the US version of connected drive and other stuff that doesnt work for me here in the EU.

I really don't know, although I doubt it. ARTTI requires 6AM and is a subscription serve via Telematics.

Europe BMW Assist is different from USA BMW Assist and not included in USA BMW sold in Europe, so it is not just coding. If BMWAG offers the Europe BMW Assist in USA cars by paying the subscription then it may work -but I doubt it.

I just took delivery of my M4 yesterday... The BMW Genius at the delivery center told me that in Australia, the speed limit display is disabled because we have speed limit signs on the back of buses advertising 40km/h speed limits in school zones and it might confuse the cameras.

Actually I was told by the dealer due to the inaccuracies (maybe caused by the above conditions), BMW got sued by driver in Australia after having received a speeding ticket, when the speed illustrated was different to the legal limit (driver got a speeding ticket). As such the feature was pulled or disabled. The limitation excuse seems weak from BMW as Mercedes and other manufacturers offer the feature.

Are there any updates on how one could go about obtaining the FSC code? I have the same issue - in that I'm in Australia and this feature is disabled. It would be great to enable this feature as the hardware is clearly there waiting to be used

You can get 7E FSC Code; however, SLI does not work in Australia. It is unsupported country.

FYI speed limit now working on on the BMW HUD, with the new iDrive v.6 system.

Believe it was brought online with new vehicles around July-Sep (new models). Doubt it will be retrofitted? (may be hardware dependent).

Early reports indicate it works ok.

Apparently you are able to order the FSC and get it retrofitted from your local dealer now. Will try when I have some spare time and report back

Also can the KAFAS camera be retrofitted i have the adaptive led lights but the other camera on the screen do you know if its just a case of buying the KAFAS Camera and swiping over ?

You need KAFAS2 for SLI, else FSC Code is worthless. I have no idea about KAFAS2 Retrofit.
