Carly App for F-series
Hey all,
Since I came from an e92 I have the Carly app on my phone still (paid $50 for it). I hear rumors that they are in the final stages of testing for coding functions for the app on F-series cars. I am curious if this includes the F8x's as well. It would be nice to have the easy coding abilities of the app back. I just got my netbook coding setup working and am able to code but having the convenience of the app is awesome. Anyone know about this?

Looks interesting, but I am weary about how they will be able to code the F8x or F3x platform... I would love a solution where I can code from my ipad wirelessly, but the only trustworthy/secure solution that I use is TM's Esys Launcher Premium (aka Esys).

I just used it last night..I was able to code a few options on my F80 like I had on my E92. I'm waiting on them to finish with the idrive function to be able to watch movies on the go.
All in all a good App. |

I'm reviving this thread to see if anyone else has experience with the Carly for BMW. I'm curious to see if it's fried any FRM modules on the F8x models as has been noted in an earlier post about the e9x.

Does anyone know if you can code off the amber side markers on the xenon headlights with the carly app? I believe you can with ESYS but not sure if thats intergraded in Carly.

Works fine on my F30 LCI. Now able to code iDrive things like getting rid of CONFIRM. Like the fact I could turn off STOP/START in COMFORT/SPORT/SPORT+ modes but leave it on IN ECO-PRO mode. One nifty Android app.

and it hasnt fried anything so far and ive coded something or other in all modules

I had a friend use Carly on my car. Couldn't activate Euro LED, but managed to do pretty much everything else I wanted easily.
