How old were you when you bought your first M?
I've read a lot of comments on the forums that say "don't buy an M3 when you're young."
I'm turning 30 in January and wanted to buy myself a birthday present - in no way is this a midlife crisis deal. I just really love the bodystyle of the current M3s and have always wanted to own/drive one. I work hard for my money and am not a trust fund baby. Looking to gather some insight across the forum on the age range everyone purchased their first M3. Was it too early/late? If you bought one early on in life, if you had the chance to do it again, would you have waited? Thanks in advance you beautiful people. |

I was 30 when I bought my first BMW, but did not get my first M (2006 E46 M3) until I was 62.

I did Euro Delivery of my first M (F80 M3) on my 30th birthday. Best decision I've ever made. I came from a poor family and was told I'd never make it. It daily reminds me of how far I've come and how grateful I am to not listen to the naysayers in life and to continue going after my dreams. I say go for it!

I got my F82 when I was 26...Bought my first M (E92 M3) at 18. To be honest I do have regrets...but at the same time I appreciate it because it forced me to work hard.

55.
Started off with not much in my early years. Worked hard to get myself into a place where I felt I'd "made it". Paid cash. Waiting's worth it. I'm so grateful for living in a place that rewards hard work.
