CEL light check shops recommended?
Hello
I have the CEL light came on this morning and most likely due to a downpipe installed on my car... I'll need to run the codes & make sure this came from DP and find a shop to do this... any members know if Strickly BMW does this service? or any shops should do this service? Thank! |

Hi,
I was able to clear the CEL light few minutes ago. While I was coming home, I stopped by the bodyshop near my house and went to run the codes and Catalytic Converter Efficiency below Threshold came out and cleared this and CEL light went away. This shop used SOLUS EDGE software and only paid $40.00. If anybody have this issues, let me know, I'll provide contact information. |

The CEL will most likely return if all they did was clear it. I would look into long-term solutions for clearing/deleting the CEL on DP equipped vehicles.
