Carbon fiber lip or matte?

Debating between the M performance lip w/ the CF splitters or an actual CF lip. What did most of you guys go for? I feel the lip is so likely to get damaged that spending a lot on it seems counter intuitive..

but I also feel the CF will go w/ the rest of the car..

Yas Marina blue -- what u guys think?!

Cf looks the best in my opinion. I'm lowered and I don't really have any issue scraping or breaking my lip

I've done both and prefer just the lip in cf. I went with RKP cf lip and would do it again if I didn't have a lip on my CS. Search around the forums for pics. I'm also selling mine.

If you're thinking about a non cf lip, I see no point in spending the extra money for m performance. I have the Lightweight lip and it's cheap, durable, and protects the bumper. Looks good too, but I also don't like the CF inserts, just wanted a lip. And if the lip breaks, it's cheap to replace. Has already saved my bumper a few times.

Where did you get your lip from?

Other than the Lightweight, what are the other options for a non CF lip(without splitters also)?

Garage List
I had a mode carbon lip on my first m4, then put a lightweight lip on my 2nd M4. I really missed seeing carbon fiber on such a nice car, so I ended up selling it and putting a CS lip on it. The CS lip is perfect for this car and I'd do it again if I had to. It actually doesn't scrape as much as you'd think because of the way it is recessed in the middle.

Measure, measure, measure. I know my driveway causes my car to scrap daily, CF would not hold up. Went with M performance lip w/ the CF splitters; this combo can take a beating!

CF looks the best BUT if you know you are probably going to bang it up then get a matte lightweight lip (you could also paint match it or paint it gloss black so it flows).

I hate the matte..... I would either buy the plastic one and have it paint matched like I did on my M4 or the CF lip which I currently have on my M3 and it looks awesome.

With the pot holes in NY/NJ area, I'm surprised car wheels there aren't square given the beatings they get!

Even painted, with the first impact, you will get cracks.
