M3/M4 CS

Hi all,

Let’s talk about these two exhausts in conjunction with the CS. We know that the CS has a unique sound to the CP, likely due to its tune. Therefore the MPE and Akra fitted to a CS is not the same as the same exhausts fitted to the CP. This is the best clip I’ve heard of the Akra on the CS, which is quite convincing.

Has anyone found any good clips for the MPE on the CS?

Both of the exhausts are excellent. Akra sounds more metallic.
I prefer MPE.

I love the MPE on my M4cs and it does sound indeed very different than it did on my 2015 M4.

I can't stand idle revving videos. They dont give you any indication of what it will sound like when you are actually driving.

I added AA midpipe with stock CS rear. Paid enough of a premium for that CS specific exhaust, not letting that go to waste lol. I'm happy with it now. Sport Plus is ridiculous off gas in my indoor parking garage at work.

In person it's actually the exact opposite Akra is a lot deeper in tone and has less rasp

My M3 CS with Akra Evolution sounds a bit like a E46 M3. Definitely sounds more throaty and deep than the Instagram clips above.

I prefer Akrapovic over MPE

I have an Akra and I prefer the MPE. The MPE is louder and raspier.

Akra is quieter, a little more adult. I would have gone MPE but the welds were breaking when I was a buyer.
