Canadian Crank Hub Issue

Hello all,

Just out of curiosity I just want to know if any Canadians have experience the Crank Hub Issue that our U.S. counterparts are experiencing.

I want to hear from either stock or modified owners.

I have a 2015 M4 6spd manual transmission with just over 80k KMs (just out of warranty) and I have the PTF BM3 stage 2 tune with cat-less down-pipes and SSR intake with the M Performance Muffler and I had no issues.

Please chime in!

Thanks

I know one fellow in Alberta has had two issues. But I’ll let him chime in if he wishes.

Me? I’m at 31,000km and no issue

If you have a manual you don't have to worry about it, I think it's for DCT vehicles only, I might be wrong tho is just what I've heard from other people online.

I think you maybe right, I suspect the same thing, so you have no issues at all?

There have been MT cars with spun hub. Not a DCT only issue.
Theres a thread on it.

On a related note - anybody have any warranty/dealer issues with their tuned cars in Canada? Curious to know if cars are flagged in general - warranty claims denied etc - especially ECU only tuned cars reverted back to stock programming for regular dealer service or warranty claim.
